It was the exact part that I needed. It was pricey though, but still worth it.

Washer that keeps cracking!
June 18, 2018

It was sort of difficult to install but not impossible. The problem is it keeps cracking. We winterize the washing machine but every year we start to do a wash in the spring it leaks - we then have to take the split part out and order. this has happened three years. Why does this part keep splitting?

Not easy to install. Screws are out of the way. Very fragile valve. This is the 3rd one I have replaced.

Hard Texas Freeze cracked my part
February 13, 2018

I have my washing machine on the porch and snap freeze for 2 days, cracked this part inside the machine. This is the second time I have done this job. We plan on moving the washing in a month when the house is finished. Definitely think deeply when doing DIY. I have found that a washing machine is NOT THAT DEEPLY COMPLEX. My suggestion is you CAN DO IT YOURSELF! At least most of the time. Have patience, move slowly and intentionally, document what you find, and get things fixed for your family.
