EXACT PART WORKED WELL... YOU NEED SPECIAL TOOL
Although part was 5 days overdue in shipping ( haven't figured out why that happened), it was the correct part and fixed the problem with my Whirlpool dishwasher that was less than 8 years old. It wasn't an easy task for me simply because of the difficulty getting the dishwasher out and reaching the shut off valve hidden behind another cabinet. The part was an exact replacement. I removed the defective spray pump and then tested it to see what the problem might be. It was very noisy and rattled excessively when I applied 120vac to it. Was happy about that since I thought it would be really hard to diagnose any additional defective part(s). WARNING: YOU MUST HAVE THE PROPER TOOL TO CRIMP THE HOSE CLAMP. I have a fairly extensive variety of tools and none were capable of squeezing the clamp. You have to have what is called a nipper tool to properly squeeze clamp tight. Since I didn't have this tool (I do now) I ended up removing the clamp and using a standard screw hose clamp which works well. I had never encountered a clamp like that and was surprised to find it required a very specific tool that very few DIY would have. I gave this experience 4 stars because of the requirement of a special tool needed to complete job. Sears was kind enough to refund my shipping cost due to lengthy shipping time.

Dishwasher circulation pump
Machine stopped circulating water laying in bottom. Machine making louder noise than usual. Thankfully my husband maintenance tech. Installation based on tech who is familiar with machine.

Easy fix
Too bad the quality of original pump is very poor for it to wear out so quickly (less than 4 years) When i took old one out and inspected the pump impeller it came off in my hand noticed the new one was designed a bit differently how it attaches to the shaft (big brass bushing there now) It works now but how long? who knows. Whirlpool check your quality!

Exactly what I needed.
The installation was simple and got my dishwasher up and running again in no time. I only needed the motor so the rest of the assembly was removed and saved in case it's needed later.

Horrible shipping
The motor was wrapped inside a very thin plastic bag then placed inside a box to rattle and roll around which lead to plastic clips being broken. I can't even install the motor. Now I have to send it back and lost out on $10 because someone's poor decision. Maybe next time bubble wrap your parts
