The hard part is getting the old shafts out. Shafts fit well and are easy to install. Took about 30 minutes to install.

It took a lot of removal of other parts before this part could be accessed, but replacement of the actual part was pretty easy.

Took months to arrive
I ordered a number of parts to repair my lawn tractor. It tooks months for each item including this one to finally arrive. Also some were poorly packed, rattling loose in oversized boxes. I have had the tractor for 21 years. The customer service has gone down every year, but this was the worst. I have given up on Sears.
