Chainsaw chains
Even with proper sharpening and maintenance, there's only so much sharpening and filing you can do before a chainsaw chain outlives its usefulness. While small nicks can be fixed, broken or cracked cutter teeth can leave the chain beyond repair. You should replace the chain immediately if the rivets are damaged or if the chain no longer maintains the proper tension.
