I purchased a SEARS KENMORE ELITE washing machine. At the time, one of the top of the line. It replaced a front load machine we had from Sears that lasted maybe 3 years and after 4 technicians struck out, and after 7 weeks with no laundry being done in our home, we were given credit back. We purchased the one we had now back in July of 2018. It lasted 3 months MORE than the 2 year coverage we had on it. The part purchased did not fix the problem because after paying $109 for a tech to come out, he told me it was a computer board problem that would cost $700. So I bit the bullet and said "Screw it", and bought a new machine... DEFINITELY NOT KENMORE SINCE THANKFULLY SEARS IS OUT OF BUSINESS., and NOT LG. 2 service techs, 1 being from Sears told me only the shell was Kenmore Elite but the guts were LG when LG bought out / took over Sears.
