Reviews
Good service all around
I purchased (which was very easy to do)part because my appliance repair man said he couldn't get one for a while. After receiving the part, repairman came to install it but he couldn't remove the old one that was solidly frozen in place. I had to return it and receive email with return slip after calling.

Great!
This part was put on a 2011 Maytag Centennial . Perfect fit, all screw holes lined up perfectly. A new tub water seal was preinstalled on the new gear case. My inner tub was held in w/the metal spanner nut and two piece metal flange. The new gear case came w/the plastic flange and c shaped plastic locking clip which replaced my old metal flange assembly. The new flange fit perfectly. The hardest part of the job was removing the metal tub flange.

This did the trick
Loud noise indicated hub was going. This part did the trick. Highly suggest getting the drive hub kit in advance - very likely to be destroyed in the process. Repair was straightforward, but removing old parts was the difficult part, requiring a mix of WD40, a srcrew extractor, a dremel, a cold chisel and a small sledge hammer.

Perfect Fit
Removing the old gear case was very difficult due to rust. Tried many different ways to remove it, eventually had to cut the old metal "collar" that was screwed into the washer plate using an angle grinder. This new gear case came with a plastic collar, much better design. Washer works perfectly now.
