Charged Twice as much as the technician
We had this Sears service technician come out and look at our washer and diagnosed that it needed a new wash plate. Since this was an easy fix I ordered the part myself and installed it however the technicians invoice listed the item as about $39 for him to order it but I was charged $89 when I order it directly from Sears, sad.

Worked great. Clean clothes again.
The install was easy, one bolt, pull out, clean a little bit, and new one back in. The plastic splines on our old one were stripped out because we overloaded. Bad original design: plastic splines against a metal drive shaft. Not smart!

The wash plate was an easy install but do NOT over tighten the bolt or you will snap it off.
