Reviews
Get the right part
It took two visits from the appliance technician to finally determine the problem with my ice dispenser. It turned out to be the motor that turns the auger. Installing the parts was not a problem. A good technician that knows how to diagnose is very important. The rest you can do by yourself. It's still cheaper than a new refrigerator. Dave P.

part fit, easy install, good guidance
My Kitchenaid KSCS25FTBL01 ice dispenser stopped dispensing ice. The chute opened, but no ice came out. So it seems, and Sear Parts chat person agreed, the control panel worked but the augur motor didn't. Sear Parts had best price by about $50 ($160 vs $200+ everywhere else). With the correct special screwdriver (kind that goes over the screw with like a 1/4 inch hex nut adapter) it was fairly easy to remove old one and install new one. there are helpful videos online, although none i found directly on point with this exact job. All the work on this model fridge is done through the front, not the back.

Fixing the ice crusher in door.
Finally we got the right part. First ordered part sears sent wrong part. I've haven't been told yet if sears will let me return part and get full refund. We still have a problem...when sears repair person was here to figure out what was wrong, they shorted out the mother board that operates the door water and ice crusher.

Slow shipping
Repair was simple. Shipping took longer than estimated. Motor was thrown in a box with nothing else, not even a packing slip.
