relatively easy to install
took about 30 minutes of repair time had to get a new lug for one of the wires as the old one broke on removal (they are fragile). Only issue I had was high cost for expedited shipping as I had a limited time to get the repair done. it did arrive a day ahead of time.

Normally this shouldn't be difficult to install, but I, somehow, screwed up the wiring. I called support to see if I could just get someone to tell me the order of the colored wires, and was told I had to pay $40 to get that info. I had just paid $180 for the part - it seems to me that I deserved some guidance.

Difficult installation
It took me about an hour. My burner would heat on high but not lower than 6.5. I discovered a spade lug that had become burnt due to arcing. One connector had become loose. This may have been the problem but I put the new burner in anyway. It works like new. Sears Parts personnel were helpful and graciously refunded my previous circuit boards which were my original attempts at solving the problem. I was able to fix my range by myself.

I hired a guy to do the install. He took about 30 mins. Part shipped quickly once it was in stock. Wish these parts were not special order.
