Works. Was the quickest option
Our Whirlpool heat pump dryer was giving us codes F3 and E8 which indicate "Condenser Thermistor". I checked mine and the ohm reading on it was way too high out of spec and so I looked for a new one and SearsPartsDirect had it available much more quickly than any other site I could find. Part came quickly and was covered in thermal paste already so I installed it and so far the dryer is working great. Careful with the time estimates below. It's quick for me as I have opened and cleaned out the dryer's evaporator coils many times but if you haven't removed the front and the drum before, it is more involved. Fortunately I hen you take the cover off the top of the dryer there is a service manual inside!
