Troubleshooting your Yard Machines electric snowblower when it won't throw snow far enough
If your snowblower isn't clearing pavement well, first turn off the snowblower and clear any snow that's built up in the chute. A clogged chute won't throw snow very far.
If the discharge chute isn't clogged, check the augers and auger drive system. A damaged auger blade can't push snow through the shoot, and broken shear pins keep sections of the auger from spinning.
A weak drive motor may lack the power to throw snow through the chute. Replace the drive motor if it isn't running properly
How to fix your Yard Machines electric snowblower when its auger isn't turning
A broken shear pin is the most common reason the auger won't turn properly so replace any broken shear pins.
A weak drive motor can also prevent the auger from turning. Replace the drive motor if it won't spin the auger when it gets electrical current.
