Plug and play. Installed in evening after dinner. Cleaned with soap and water. Dried off. Plugged into electrical. Pushed into position, secured with two screws. Installation complete. Turned on ice button on front of refrigerator and went to bed. Ice bucket was practically full next morning.

No instructions were included, and I'm glad I kept the old one, but it was easy to install. Unplug the refrigerator. Unscrew the two screws in the front. Keep them. Pull down and toward you. Unhook the wire by pressing on the clip. Remove the old unit. There is a water filler tube at the top (about 1/2' diameter). Make sure it is defrosted before installing the new ice maker. Connect the wire clip of the new unit, push it back into place aligning the screw holes in front. Replace the screws. Plug the refrigerator back in. That's it!
