Easy fix! Better look than the rusty one!
Original trim had rusted out due to cleaner /moisture,etc trapped at bottom of door. Replacing this new trim worked great, well after figuring out how to take the door off- which was easy with 3 clips on hinges that pivot down! Easy to replace this piece on the oven door after putting the whole door on a table. Only a few screws needed to removed. It is also a good time to clean all the pieces of glass as long as it is all apart. This only came with one rubber/ foam separator so I was not sure if it was supposed to come with all 3 that the originally one had.

Poor packing and terrible double sided tape
Item was jammed into the box and one corner was crimped causing the paint to crack off. I sprayed it with black paint so it was OK. The double sided tape that was included was junk. It didn't stick to the glass even though it was thoroughly cleaned. I got it together and it looks good now but I shouldn't have had to deal with this with a "new" part.

Easy to Install' With Care
The basic idea isn't hard, and only requires a Philips screwdriver and maybe a pocket knife. Be careful taking your new trim kit out of the box! It's somewhat delicate, and the sides and bottom are welded together and can easily bend or break off with too much force. Also be careful removing the old trim kit from the door. It will be attached to the glass front, so the glass and the old trim will all come off in one piece. And as soon as you loosen the final screws it will separate from the door which may snap shut if someone isn't holding it, as the spring load no longer has weight to keep it in the open position. You also may want some double-sided tape, just two small pieces. That's how the glass is attached to the trim. But even if you don't have it, it's OK. It doesn't hold it up, just keeps the side pieces from wiggling very slightly once installed and makes things a tad easier to put back together. Try to take note of how the handle and the plastic venting across the top of the door are attached on the inside so you remember how to put everything back. That cost me about 20 minutes of reverse engineering! But overall, this was not a bad job. An hour and $40 later, my oven looked like new without shelling out the cabbage for a new range. Worth the time and money.
