Surprisingly easy to imstall!
My ice maker had not been dropping the ice from the tray when it was ready which caused water to run all over the freezer. I would manually drop the ice and I did this for weeks. I finally broke down and purchased the new ice maker and it completely solved the issue. I was most surprised how extremely easy it was to remove and replace! If you are having issues with your ice freezing up and not dropping from the tray then I would suggest you get this replacement. The only negative was the cost but in the end it was worth it to fix the issue.
