It would have been a much easier part to use if the adapter harness had properly colored wires! My fridge had a white and red wire for thr starter relay, this package has only white wires. The instructions say "if your fridge has a blue and red wire, match them with the harness" Which is impossible to do as the harness wires are the same color! To make matters WORSE the instructions are printed in black and white, including the photos, so have fun guessing where the hot wire should go! I ended up finding a grayscale to color conversion chart online, finding which the "red" wire is that way and making sure that the harness and relay matched the photo. Once I was certain I had matched the wiring, which is functionally a guessing game with this kit, I hooked the relay into the compressor and plugged the fridge in and it purred like a kitten! So the part works, and works well, but the instructions are trash and the kit is poorly designed. Be very cautious and make sure you get the wires correct! All in all it was about 20 minutes to do, including the extra research I had to do to figure out the proper wire configuration.
