This fresh food evaporator cover and fan assembly (part number DA97-11823A) is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some Samsung bottom-freezer refrigerator models starting with RB195AC, RB215AB, RB215AC, RB217AB, RF18HFE, RF197AB, RF197AC, RF20HFE, RF217AB and RF217AC.

Fresh food evaporator cover and fan assembly DA97-11823A covers the evaporator at the back of the fresh food compartment and includes the fan that circulates air over the evaporator.

This cover and fan assembly DA97-11823A does not include the evaporator.

This part replaces part numbers DA97-06656A, DA97-06656C, DA97-06656F and DA97-06656J.

Unplug the refrigerator before installing this part; wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Remved old cover, unplug two connections, replug new connections on new cover, snap cover into place. 5 minutes.

This part number does not include the plastic fan assembly. We were told by the service personnel that the part number included the fan. Now we can not find the part number for the fan which is necessary.
