I am a fairly experienced with mechanical devices and it took me about 2 hrs to install.Much of the time was in the dis assembly of the front shroud. A bit tricky with many items getting in the way of removal.The actual removal of speed control assy looked simple from the directions provided. However, access to one of the screws was impossible without first removing part of the assembly that locks the auger drive in place.(Not shown in directions) Once that was done, re-assy went quickly. Also, be aware that some of the screws have a lock nut which slows down removal. Snow thrower just tested this morning and all ok !
