Agri-Fab Mower attachments

Official Agri-Fab mower attachment parts

Agri-Fab is a leading manufacturer of mower attachments. Agri-Fab mower attachments are versatile and rugged components that fit many different types of mowers. When parts wear out or get damaged on your Agri-Fab mower attachment, get the replacement parts you need at Sears PartsDirect.

Adjusting the blade clutch cable on your Agri-Fab mower attachment

  • Remove the rear drive cover mounting screws then pull off the rear drive cover.
  • Place the blade clutch lever in the disengaged position. The blade clutch cable should be under slight tension but should not pull the blade clutch lever more than 1/8-inch away from the switch body.
  • To increase cable tension, loosen the inner nut on the clutch cable and tighten the outer nut on the clutch cable.
  • To decrease cable tension, loosen the outer nut on the clutch cable and tighten the inner nut on the clutch cable.
  • Reinstall the rear drive cover.

Common replacement parts for Agri-Fab mower attachments

  • Blades. The cutting blades attach to the blade hub under the mower deck and spin to cut the grass during mowing.
  • Spark plug. The spark plug ignites the air and fuel mixture in the cylinder to start the lawn mower attachment engine. If the engine runs rough or is hard to start, check the spark plug and replace it.
  • Air filter. The mower attachment engine's air filter removes contaminants from air before it reaches the engine, to help reduce engine wear and improve efficiency.
  • Flywheel key. The flywheel key is a small metal rectangle that keeps the crankshaft and flywheel aligned when you tighten the flywheel nut. To protect more expensive components from damage, the flywheel key is designed to shear if the mower attachment blade hits an object hard enough to make the flywheel slip out of alignment with the crankshaft.
