Troubleshooting tips for your Whirlpool electric wall oven when it won't broil
Shut off the house circuit breakers for the oven and check the broil element for cracks or damage. Replace the broil element if you see physical damage such as a broken or cracked element.
If the broil element is okay, then check the main electronic control board and the relay control board for burn marks that indicate a circuit board failure. You'll likely need to replace a control board if it has burn marks indicating a failed circuit board component.
Check all wiring connections (with power still disconnected from the oven). Reconnect any loose wires and repair any broken wires.
