Part was fine. But that wasn't the problem, so I returned the part. It's been 3 months and I haven't received credit. Know they received because of tracking. Can't get a person on the phone.

Super Easy to Install
The part fit perfectly and the instructions to install were clear and simple to follow. My only problem was the fact that i never received an email with my confirm emails until 2 days after I received the part. I had to call in to get my shipping/tracking # to see when it would arrive.

Easy Installation
I have owned Sears Water Softeners for over 20 years but was somewhat disappointed with this item's failure in 5 years. The replacement did arrive in a very short time and was very easy to install. It took under 30 minutes (some of which was used cleaning unrelated items)
