Took too long to deliver
Ordered motor and fan 30-Sep-2020. Fan arrived 8-Oct-2020, pointless without motor. I probably could have used old fan. Nursing old motor (remove food, take apart freezer, take apart motor, lubricate motor, put all back together, got it down to about an hour) weekly. then daily, then multiple times per day. Food starting to rot as I cannot fix fast enough. Complaints to customer service only offered option to cancel order. Around 20-Nov-2020 unable to nurse old motor to life. More food rotting. 23-Nov-2020. received email that motor was to be shipped to arrive before 21:00 on 25-Nov-2020, too late for normal Thanksgiving shopping. Motor arrived arrived 16:40. No instructions. Needed to disassemble new motor and install parts from old motor before being able to attach to old mounting hardware. Repair was nothing fancy, just a lot of screws. Everything appeared to be working around 18:00 (fan turning, but who knows if refrigerator/freezer will reach appropriate temperatures) so I ran out for quick Thanksgiving shopping. Found everything working when I returned so Thanksgiving not ruined.
