Main top replacement
I got it done....but it was not until l looked for additional videos. They sent me one which didn't help. It's not a hard task however s couple of items of hardware broke and I had to adapt. In the end all is well. Looks like new now. Thanks

Stove top
My stove top was beyond cleaning, instead of replacing the stove, I replaced the top. Sears replacement stove top was very easy to install, and only took approximately 30 minutes.

Great product. No install instructions.
I expected installation instructions either in the email confirmation or on the part description page. Googled a few videos to get the idea of how to remove. Would of rated higher if instructions were provided. Right side didn't line up with the screw holes but I was able to drill one quick enough to secure to the inside bracket.

Nice fix
The Kenmore stove in our house was damaged on one side when we purchased the house. We liked the stove so I looked onto a new top for it. Sears had it in stock for a reasonable price. The stove now looks like new! Easy fix and a nice upgrade to the kitchen. I wonder how long the old owners lived with the stove damaged? Quick shipping and nicely packaged.
