Doesn't fit, asymmetrical, cheap, pre-worn finish

I chatted with a Sears specialist SPECIFICALLY to confirm compatibility with my Kenmore range, left and right grates, provided model number - 74343. Specialist confirmed it was compatible. It is asymmetrical and does NOT fit with the other grates. Material is a cheap cast aluminum with what appears to be an anodized finish, top side only, however arrived wearing off and chipped.
