Wait until the surface is cool to the touch before starting the repair. Wear work gloves to protect your hands. Caution: The oven door is heavy, so you might need two people to safely lift it off the oven frame for servicing.

Not the right piece

I believe it should have been easy to install if the replacement piece did fit. I am sorry couldn't find the replacement, nevertheless my experience with Sears is excellent. They shipped the item and sent a technician to install, then the glass was not a match. I had to return. Return was also easy and they came for pick up. I need not to leave my home. Thank you Sears for the outstanding service. experience
