Works like new again
I didn't realize how worn down the original part was till I opened the pack and saw the new, all my line feed problems are now solved. works like a dream now.

Right part for my trimmer.
It took 2 minutes to clean off the trimmer where the cap goes and to screw it into the spool making sure the line was around the shaft and coming out of the notch in the ring so line could freely feed out. The replacement cap fit perfectly.
