Shut off the gas supply and unplug the range before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
Removed grill top above heat shield, heat shield, bad part and replaced. Took about 25 minutes.

Burner Ignitor replacement

Easy to purchase, a bit expensive but cheaper than a new stove. This is the second time I've replaced this item. There is a youtube video on how to replace it. The video is about 10 minutes long and job takes less than 30 minutes to do.

Following the viewing of a youtube video, replacement was easy be sure unit is seated in gas connection ( pull out bottom drawer to see connection is correct ) nowhere in the video does it show that. If not well seated ,could be A BIG problem.
