Reviews
Glad I found it
It is expensive, but less than a new washer. Biscuit was out of stock everywhere, so I ordered black. It looks good. Little tough to fit in, but fit great in the end. You have to take four screws off the door, in addition to the screws on the panel. Fit the panel to all the slots on the top of the door and then it fits great. I also had a problem with the handle inside the panel. That was broken too, so I wrapped some wire through the handle and the inside of the door. Now, that is all solid. Original design is too much pressure on a few plastic pressure points. Love the washer, but too much dependence on plastic handles. I'd give five starts if the price was lower.

New part works works great.
1st control panel did not work. Called repair service and after two visits it was determined that the control panel was defective. Returned 1st control panel and ordered a 2nd control panel. Sears accepted return part and issued credit shortly thereafter. Sears also gave 10% discount of 2nd order and free shipping. 2nd control panel works fine. - no issues.

Simple repair/replacement
Easy if you do it in this order: Remove the large front panel (save the 6 short screws). Unplug the old control panel. The new control panel comes with its own pigtail. Remove the old control panel and save the four long screws. Install the new control panel with the saved four long screws. Plug in the new pigtail. Re-install the front panel with its 6 short screws. Done.

Easy to Install
It took no time at all to install, I did have to take the door apart to get the part to fit correctly, but 4 screws and that was done.
