Exactly the part I needed!!!
My existing washer door boot developed a crack and was leaking and needing replacement. I came to Sears Parts Direct again as they are outstanding. The model number lookup took me to the right diagrams and from there, was able to order a 'Genuine Whirlpool' replacement part! I like that Sears Parts Direct deals with original manufacture parts vs third party parts. In my experience, the third party solutions are less than satisfactory. Overall, I was able to perform the repair in less than an hour! Thank you to Repair Clinic on YouTube for there wonderful videos! I have ordered from Sears Parts Direct several times and will so again in the future. I would also recommend them to anyone who needs parts that work the first time! Nicely done!!!

Repairman from Sears installed without any problem

Difficult installation
It was kind of difficult to install because there is very little room to get your hand in there with a screwdriver. Installing the second clamp was also difficult it took me a while to secure it.

Medium effort to install
You tube the step by step process for your front load whirlpool washer. Makes the process faster with a cordless drill and the right bits. Had some difficulty removing the Control Display Panel. Use a straight screw driver with some patience. Control Panel is much easier to Install then remove. For me, the Control Panel was the hardest part to remove. The rest was easy.

not easy to install
It took my repair man two hours to install. It is working. There were places where the rubber had stuck to itself. we were able to separate though.

Should have bought this from the start
At first I bought a non-OEM seal due to price but it never seated properly and would leak every load. I finally broke down and bought the OEM seal and it has worked perfectly right from the start. The repair is simple and takes no more than 15-20 minutes
