Fit properly, had rubber gasket inside.
Like the Red color, so if it vibrates & falls off of the gas tank, it will be easier to find in the grass. I think that was the problem with the previous one - it wasn't seen so got hit by the mower blade.

Fuel Cap for Lawnmower
I was very disappointed.. I called to order a fuel cap for My craftsman lawnmower and was assured by the salesperson I spoke to that without a doubt I was getting the correct gas cap for the model # I provided.. And I was told there were No returns. I have to say I was Hesitant to purchase because the shipping fees were more than the item itself..But I was assured it was the correct one. Well it doesn't fit and now I am stuck with a gas cap. What to do Now??

Problem solved
I was relieved that Sears still carried the gas cap for my 16 yr old snowthrower. The original was chewed off by a squirrel (!) and had to be replaced. The associate I spoke to was very nice, and suggested how to discourage the squirrels from chewing on the new cap. Shipment was very prompt and I'm back to moving snow!
