Reviews
Makes a difference on water leakage
I installed this part along with a new tub bearing and stem seal. The original tub seal came with a METAL washer on top of the shaft seal (shown in the schematic). When I included this washer on the shaft seal the top of the seal was dislodged. When left out all worked well. This was an old washer (but great) and the seal/boot designed had changed with no need for the washer, however the schematic does not reflect that.
