after figuring out how to remove cover panel then removing retaining screws it becomes a matter of orienting the new switch properly attaching the wires correctly screwing on adapter screwing retainers on and replacing cover panel. The first time one learns the second time all falls into place and time to do job decreases.

HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS

The instructions said, unplug stove, remove bad part, install new part, plug stove back in. That's it!! no instructions to where the wires go!! We blow up one of the $40 parts because no instructions for wires.

Two issues with the switch being replaced: 1. The new switch is listed as a direct replacement, but it does not have the same connections and is a different size. 2. The burner heats much differently in that between 1 & 4, very little heat comes from the element, at 5 on the knob it seems to be full on. It is wired properly.

Works great but a different size than original

The switch that had gone bad in my range was a slightly smaller than this replacement. Despite the size difference this new switch fits but requires the use of a spacer that is included. Without the spacer the stem on this switch will be higher than the other 3 original switches. The new switch also has different names for each terminal than the old switch. I found directions online which explained which wire went to which terminal on the new switch. It would've been nice if this info had been included with the new switch. Otherwise it was easy to connect and works great.

Wasn't an exact replacement, but did the trick!

2 of our burner dials weren't operating properly. A few youtube videos to figure out how to expose everything, take some detailed pictures of the wiring before you undo. The new configuration matched the letters, but not the shape/order.

Easy once you get to the switch and mark the wires

Different design but works good. Must mark wires prior to removing them from the old switch. Then connect those same marked wires to the new switch corresponding locations that are also marked. I do advise before starting, that you attach the knob to the new switch to know which way it is pointing in the off position

Lousy Service

I ordered "In Stock" items, that said they would take a month to get. I told them if this was true, I'd order them elsewhere. I was reassured that they would ship out in 3 days because they were in stock. 2 weeks later, still no parts. Called again and was told they were going to rush my order through the "Back" team? Still no parts. Called again, same run around, rush my order. Got parts 1 1/2 weeks AFTER the original 1 month ship date. Never order from you again.

Print was very small and hard to read on product.

Replace two Range Surface Element Switches. Not as easy as video showed. Prefer printed instructions especially when part numbers change and size and layout of part terminals change.
