You need a repair person to change a light bulb.
It was told to me from your service expert that this was a customer installed part, nothing could be further from the truth. To install this light bulb you have to pull out the microwave / oven combo from the wall. Dismantle the microwave from the housing containing the microwave/oven combo, then remove the control panel of the microwave, then separate the microwave oven from its own housing to get to the bulb in order to replace it.

Bad part, expensive vs. generic, poor communicatio
It's the wrong part. Prongs are wrong size. Bulb is not heavy enough for the application. I double checked with the OEM parts department. They wanted sell the same part. I then tried to install the part provided. Before each prong was seated in the socket the bulb filament failed. I went to Batteries Plus and got two bulbs for less than the correct bulb from sears and whirlpool. Bad part from Sears/Whirlpool. Bad service from sears - could not communicate with their off shore call center. Expensive part compared to generic and I could understand the sales clerk.
