Installation is no problem. I'm glad to see that the part has been redesigned without the overhanging bell-shaped counter-electrode tab: it breaks off spontaneously after a couple of years, so I'm on my third one now. The attached photo shows the previous design, with the bell-shaped tab appearing at around 4 o'clock in the picture. Proper gas and air flow depend on that tab, so once it breaks off the whole part -- costing over $60 with shipping -- is useless.

DON'T buy one like this -- with the bell-shaped tab at 4 o'clock in the photo.

This restored the flame height of my most used burner. The aluminum on the old part wore down enough it stopped the flames from coming out properly. It was back ordered for weeks though. Makes me worry if I need another one in the future. The stove has only been used 6 years.
