Replacement is easier if you do not remove the two lowest panel screws (closest to the hinges) on either side. This way, you do not have to struggle resetting the cover panel but still have enough room to reach in to the wire harness connectors.

careful forethought with support of the door panel allowed correct alignment of the screws and plugging the connectors to the control board.
