Maytag MRT311FFFZ main control board
The original part # W10908179 failed on the Maytag MRT311FFFZ refrigerator after less than a year. When I looked for a replacement it showed the part had been replaced by # W11039790 and that is what I ordered. The box I received showed the correct part # W11039790 on the outside but the part on the inside was the same # W10908179 as the original. So I hope I did not get a part that has been identified as having an issue and will fail like the last one. The part was easy to replace and only requires a 1/4" nut driver and removal of three screws inside the top of the refrigerator section. And then disconnecting two electrical plugs. Shut it down and unplug before doing anything.
