Good part bad shipping
Very easy to simply squeeze the mounting, unplug the connections, cut the molded connector since the replacement has terminals configured differently, plug the terminals back in, install by squeezing the mounting, route the bulb into the well, seal the well with RTV or equivalent and slide panel back into the side of the freezer. This particular thermostat maintains -10 with a setting of 3, but each device and application may be a little different but a good starting point would be 3.
