This carburetor (part number 951-12705) is for lawn and garden equipment engines.
Carburetor 951-12705 replaces Deni carburetors with calibration code 165SB and Huayi carburetors with calibration code 165SB. If your original carburetor doesn't match the supplier and/or code, use this chart to find the correct part number.
The carburetor supplier name (Huayi or Deni) is stamped into the carburetor body, usually opposite the fuel inlet. The calibration code is the center series of numbers printed on the carburetor (starting with the 8th digit), and is sometimes also stamped into the carburetor body.
Carburetor 951-12705 doesn't include the mounting gasket. Order the gasket or gasket kit listed for your model number separately.
Let the engine cool and drain the fuel tank before installing this part. Work in a well-ventilated area and wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Good service
When my snow thrower would not start, I determined that I needed to rebuild the carburetor. A whole new assembly was nearly the same price as a kit. That was a good move: I found that somehow, during summer storage, a large beetle had wedged itself inside the old carburetor. Order process was relatively simple, and delivery rapid.

Perfect fit
Replaced an old carb and this was an exact match. Changed them out , primed it and it fired up and ran on the third pull . A little pricey but worked perfectly!

Snow blower carburetor
The parts department told me it would have a shut off valve, it did not. The carburetor did not come with any gaskets, that should be part of the kit. Have not installed it yet.

gets rid of the OE fluctuation
runs hotter than the OE carb. No longer does it surge, just runs clean and smooth.
