Wish it was compatible
So it shows up to fit my same model fridge but yet the set up is different. Had to splice the wires in order to make it work.

Did not install this part. Reserving the part for a possible future installation / repair. The most distressing of this part is the excessive cost to ship this part. The sensor cost 414.95 and the cost of shipping was $18.95 which I considered TOO high but at the time I thought I needed it to correct the problem with my refrigerator which turned out to not be true. I attempted to return the sensor, but I would have to pay for the shipping cost which I did not want to do. So end result I paid $35.18 which includes shipping cost. I don't think I will do this again. Rating of excellent applies only to the part and not the shipping charge.

Well needed
this part is a welcome part to have. If you own a newer refrigerator. It would be wise to have an extra one. The wire maybe longer than the original one. That's not a problem.

Easy to install
The wire on new sensor was a little longer than on original one. I simply coiled up the excess and put a small wire tie on it. Works great!
