Refrigerator gasket retainer installation
The installation was simple and relatively fast. My only complaint is that there was nothing to indicate that the plastic clips, the spring, or the metal rod inside the gasket retainer all had to be saved from the previous (broken) retainer. It would also be useful to identify which door on the fridge (left or right) each

Completed the repair myself!
After figuring out that parts labeled A are the right side and B is the left side, replacing the holder was simple. You have to remember to save your hardware because only the plastic shipped to you.

If you are handy this is a fairly easy install.
I installed 2 gasket retainers and it only took about 30 minutes. I have been very handy and mechanically inclined all my life. I feel the installation skill level required for this is just above the average homeowner skill set. Be sure to look at the parts diagram, take your time and it should go okay. The quality of the parts are excellent.

Parts did not come with the screw, that is a must
These parts did not come with the springs, part of the seal retainer or the screw that holds the door latch to the seal retainer. Called Sears and they don't offer the screw or springs. Have to use the old springs and go to the hardware store for the screw. Their schematic did not show the screw and the view of retainer does not show the springs.
