gave the operator model #, but the remote still didn't work. return process took 2 weeks, and 3 calls to service center. no reason to ever use sears parts again.

No instructions of any kind, and particularly no information on how to pair this remote with the older systems with which it purports to be compatible (and no list of compatible systems). The product is useless and a complete waste of money.

Wrong replacement remote sent

We spoke directly to the parts dept. and they ordered the replacement remote based on our model number and serial number. Rec'd the remote the parts dept. said would work with this garage door opener. Couldn't program it - called, and THEN we were told that for our garage door unit the replacement remote was NO LONGER AVAILABLE (after 5 calls and 2 hours on the phone)
