Wouldn't buy again, wasted my money
The gasket was very difficult to get on the door, especially underneath. Worked once we took all shelves out of refrigerator, then back wall of refrigerator buckled. Ended up buying new.

Old dirty and defective

not a happy camper
Our fridge is a 4 year old Kenmore. For the first time in 52 years we had a gasket start coming apart, so we figured to fix it rather than wait for disaster. Now we have disaster. We contacted parts direct and they figured the part number, but it was the wrong part. They were nice and had UPS pick it up and resend. Same thing happened. Got the new part right on third try. Only it has areas that despite all we can do simply will not relax and seal. So now my fridge never stops running, you can see the light inside the lower box (where we replaced the seal) when you open the freezer. I have facial tissue stuffed around the gasket to try and hold it to the fridge. Guess we will try putting silicone on the fridge box as a make do gasket until we buy a new fridge, which will never be a Kenmore! Done. Out $157 and worse off than if we had done nothing.

perfect fit
I ordered the fridge door gasket when i noticed the original was dry and cracking , my order arrived in 2 days excellent. i would recommend watching the diy video first because i did and still got to sweat doing this repair. finally it was installed easy the gasket was a perfect fit i get a little extra life for the fridge i brought for my mother's house. thanks sears parts dept. are the best anything you need they can get it to you! i strongly recommend to use the putty knife to get to the joint of the old seal.

Got a cheap broken part and got partial refund.
Purchased a Refrigerator Door Gasket which arrived damaged. I wanted to replace the door gasket on one of two refrigerators I purchased from Sears. As soon as I open the box, I saw three of the four corners of the gasket were broken. Comparing it with the 12-year old gasket, I previously purchased at Sear, this one was cheaply made. I tried returning the item from the website and would not allowed me. Had to call Sears Parts Direct and was promised a full refund. I returned the item back to Sears Parts Direct and got a partial refund.
