Special details: If your original dryer control panel had a jumper wire connected to the back, make sure to install the new jumper wire included with user interface and control panel 280100 the same way as the original panel.
This user interface and control panel assembly (part number 280100) is for dryers.
User interface and control panel assembly 280100 processes the cycle settings you choose. The interface and panel also house the display for the dryer.
Unplug the dryer before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
Dryer would only run if you held the setting button you wanted and pressed start at the same time. Then the dryer started to beeping wildly. Dryer worked, it dried clothes, but could not use all the features. Ordered this part, installed easily. it is the full assembly, not swapping the electronics. part is expensive. completely fixed my issue, now all the various dryer settings work.
