Didn't function
First off, the part was not in a sealed package and appeared to be used, as there was a white powdery substance around the base of the part. A simple installation which takes about 15 minutes, and still the soap dispenser does not release the lever. I can overlook the shipping delay, but then when the part doesn't work, a colossal waste of time.

Did not fix problem
There is often a puddle on the floor at the end of the cycle just like before. Also dispenser door does not fully open to release all of the detergent.
