Reviews
No documentation shipped with parts
For something like a gas range valve, instructions should be included with the parts. I had to look on the Internet to determine how the oven outlet should be adjusted for propane (it is adjusted for natural gas as shipped and would result in a hazard if not adjusted correctly). There is absolutely no paperwork/documentation shipped with the part itself.

Failed Oven Gas Valve
I took me a little over 1 1/2 hours to take and replace the valve. What made me mad was their was no instructions on adjusting the orifice on the valve! It cost me around $170 just to have a tech make a 1 minute adjustment to it!

This was the part we needed
Took about 30 min to install. This is for a stove that uses propane, so we had to do some troubleshooting on how to get the flame lower, but thanks to Youtube, and not to Sears customer support, we figured that out.

Was an exact replacement forthe original valve
Replaced the oven and broiler gas control valve located in the bottom back of the oven. I had to adjust the output spud to lower the amount of gas flowing to the oven which was done by tightening the brass (nut) spud until I got the desired flame.
