Control senses oven overheated while door was unlocked
If the oven actually overheated, the electronic oven control board likely has a stuck relay. Replace the electronic oven control board. If the oven is at room temperature, the oven temperature sensor could be defective. Disconnect electrical power to the oven and measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a multimeter. You should measure about 1,100 ohms of resistance at room temperature. If the resistance is off by more than 100 ohms, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the resistance is correct, replace the electronic oven control board.
