Freezer temperature is too high

Check/Repair

Loss of electrical power can cause high temperature in the freezer. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in. Check the electrical outlet for power. Reset the house circuit breaker if the outlet is doesn't work. If the compressor isn't running, the problem could be a failed start relay or defective electronic control board.

Door is ajar

Check/Repair

Close the door. If the door is closed and the code displays, then replace the door switch.

Communication error between the control panel and the electronic control board

Check/Repair

Unplug the freezer for 1 minute to reset the controls and then plug the freezer back in. If the code returns, unplug the freezer and check the control panel wire harness for damage or a loose connection. If the wire harness is okay, replace the control panel. If the problem persists, replace the electronic control board.
