Freezer temperature is too high
Loss of electrical power can cause high temperature in the freezer. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in. Check the electrical outlet for power. Reset the house circuit breaker if the outlet doesn't work. If the compressor isn't running, the problem could be a failed start relay or defective electronic control board.
Door is ajar
Close the door. If the door is closed and the code displays, then replace the door switch.
Communication error between the control panel and the electronic control board
Unplug the freezer for 1 minute to reset the controls and then plug the freezer back in. If the code returns, unplug the freezer and check the control panel wire harness for damage or a loose connection. If the wire harness is okay, replace the control panel. If the problem persists, replace the electronic control board.
Control system error
Unplug the freezer for 1 minute to reset the electronic control board and then plug the freezer back in. If the code returns, unplug the freezer and check the electronic control board wire harness for damage or loose connections. If the wire harness is okay, schedule a service technician to diagnose and repair the freezer.
Control panel lockout
To unlock the control panel, press and hold the Alarm Reset button for 3 seconds.
