You’ll need a Torx screwdriver for this repair.
How to replace the dishwasher track roller
Pull the upper dishrack out of the dishwasher a few inches. To remove each front rack stop, pull down on the bottom tab, then pull the front of the stop outward and slide the stop up and off the rail.
Remove the back dishrack stop from the rail with the broken roller. Remove the back stop the same way you removed the front stop.
Slide the rail out of the dishwasher.
Use a T25-size Torx screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the rack roller to the side of the tub. Pull out the broken roller.
Install the new track roller, screw and washer on the side of the tub by tightening the screw firmly just until it stops. Overtightening the screw can crack the side of a plastic tub.
Check track roller rotation and slightly loosen the screw if necessary so the roller rotates smoothly.
Reinstall the rail and back dishrack stop.
Insert the upper dishrack in the tracks and reinstall the front rack stops. Now your dishrack should move in and out of the dishwasher easily.
