How to remove the water filter from a Jenn-Air refrigerator
Jenn-Air makes a wide variety of high-end refrigerators. Many models of Jenn-Air French-door, bottom-freezer, side-by-side and column refrigerators have water filters installed in their cabinet.
The location of the water filter varies by model. You may find the filter in the top right corner or bottom left corner of the refrigerator section of a French-door model. Some Jenn-Air side-by-side and bottom-freezer fridges house the water filter in the bottom front grille below the freezer door.
The procedure for replacing a Jenn-Air water filter varies by model, filter housing location and the type of filter installed.

You’ll find the water filter in one of these 3 locations in a Jenn-Air French-door refrigerator:
Top, right corner of the refrigerator section.
Bottom, left corner of the refrigerator section.
Bottom grille below the freezer door.
How do I replace the water filter in the top, right corner of my Jenn-Air French-door fridge?
Follow these steps to replace the EveryDrop 4 water filter in the top, right corner of the refrigerator section:
Release the water filter cover catch and open the water filter tray.
Twist the water filter to the left and remove it from the housing.
Insert the new filter end into the filter housing.
Turn the filter to the right until it stops. Snap the filter cover shut.
Flush the water system by dispensing water through the water dispenser for 2 minutes.
Reset the water filter reminder light.
Follow this procedure to replace the Everydrop 2 filter in your Jenn-Air refrigerator:
Release the catch and open the water filter housing cover.
Tilt the water filter downward until it stops.
Twist the filter ¼ turn left and pull it out of the housing.
Line up the new filter and insert it in the housing.
Rotate the filter ¼ turn right to lock it in place. Lift the filter into the housing and close the cover.
Run 2 gallons of water through the water dispenser to purge air and carbon residue from the filter.
Reset the filter reminder light.

How do I replace the water filter in the bottom, left corner of my Jenn-Air French-door fridge?
You’ll find the EveryDop 2 water filter in the bottom, left corner of a Jenn-Air French-door refrigerator. Follow these steps to replace the filter:
Open the water filter compartment cover and twist the filter ¼ turn left.
Pull the filter out of the housing and remove the decorative cap.
Install the cap on the new filter.
Align the new filter and push it into the housing.
Rotate the filter ¼ turn to the right to lock it in place. Close the filter compartment cover.
Purge 3 gallons of water through the water dispenser to flush carbon residue from the filter and rid air from the dispenser system.
Reset the water filter replacement reminder light.

How do I replace the water filter in the bottom grille of my Jenn-Air bottom-freezer refrigerator?
Whether you have a bottom-freezer with 1 door or 2 doors (French-door), you’ll find an EveryDrop 3 in the bottom grille when the filter is housed in that location.
Follow this procedure to replace the EveryDrop 3 filter in your Jenn-Air bottom-freezer refrigerator:
Push the ejection button and pull the filter out of the housing.
Transfer the decorative cap to the new filter.
Push the new filter into the housing. You’ll hear a click as the filter locks in place.
Run 2 gallons of water through the refrigerator water dispenser to purge carbon dust and air from the filter and water lines.
Reset the water filter replacement reminder light on the control.

You’ll find the EveryDrop 1 water filter in the top, right corner of the refrigerator section in a Jenn-Air side-by-side fridge.
If you find the water filter in the bottom grille below the freezer door of your Jenn-Air side-by-side fridge, it will be an EveryDrop 3 water filter.
How do I replace the EveryDrop 1 water filter in the top, right corner of my Jenn-Air side-by-side fridge?
Open the filter housing cover door.
Pull the existing water filter out of the housing.
Position the alignment arrow pointing up for the inside filter or point the alignment arrow to the left if your filter is in the grille, slide the new filter into the housing until it stops.
Close the filter housing cover door.
Run 2 gallons of water through the refrigerator water dispenser to purge air and residue.
Reset the water filter replacement reminder light.

How do I replace the water filter in my Jenn-Air column refrigerator?
A column refrigerator is a stand-alone refrigerator without a freezer compartment. It’s often installed next to a matching upright freezer.
Jenn-Air column refrigerators with a water dispenser often have an EveryDrop 2 water filter installed in the left side of the top panel above refrigerator compartment.
Follow these steps to replace the EveryDrop 2 water filter inside a Jenn-Air column refrigerator:
Lift the water filter housing cover to access the filter.
Rotate the filter cartridge ¼ turn left and pull the filter out of the housing.
Transfer the decorative cap from the old filter to the new water filter cartridge.
Align the new water filter and push it into the housing.
Rotate the filter ¼ turn to the right to lock it in place. Close the filter compartment cover.
Purge 3 gallons of water through the water dispenser to flush carbon residue from the filter and rid air from the dispenser system.
Press and hold the Filter Reset button for 3 seconds. The water filter replacement reminder light will flash 3 times and the Replace the Filter indicator light will turn off.
