When your Toshiba printer won't work, check the cable connection between the printer and the computer. Reconnect the printer cable if it's loose. Replace the printer cable if it's damaged.
Check the computer settings to make sure you have the right printer selected and that you have the correct printer driver loaded.
Make sure the printer is plugged into a working outlet. Reset the house circuit breaker for the printer's electrical outlet if the outlet is dead.
If the above tips don't help, you may need to replace the electronic control board in the printer.
